These Terms of Service apply to all services provided by Light and Hope (“the Service Provider”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By booking or attending a session, you agree to these terms.

2. Nature of Services

We provide non-clinical pastoral counselling, life coaching, and mentoring services.

These services:

Do not constitute medical, psychological, psychiatric, or therapeutic treatment
Do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions
Are not a substitute for professional clinical or emergency care

Where appropriate, clients may be referred to qualified healthcare professionals or emergency services.

3. Client Responsibility

By engaging in services, you acknowledge that:

You are responsible for your own decisions, actions, and wellbeing
You will seek appropriate professional or emergency support when needed
You understand the limitations of non-clinical support services

4. Appointments & Cancellations

Appointments must be booked in advance
Cancellations or rescheduling should be made at least 24 hours before the session

5. Payment

This service is free
Spontaneous donations are accepted via PayPal but not mandatory

6. Confidentiality

All sessions are treated as confidential. However, confidentiality may be broken if:

There is a risk of harm to yourself or others
Disclosure is required by law
Referral to emergency or clinical services is necessary

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Light and Hope shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of its services.

8. No Guarantees

We do not guarantee specific outcomes from sessions. Progress depends on individual circumstances and engagement.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
